Here is the promotional single cover that we made. It roughly follows the conventions established by the album cover for James Blake's own Overgrown cover, but also drawing inspiration from Nirvana's 'BLEACH' with the black borders, they give it . The font also fits in with the tone of the song itself.
We used the photo edit tools when importing the photos to saturate the colours, increase the contrast and remove highlights which in brought out the features of the "artist" and overall
OK, so whilst this is quite a nice update its not making up for the fact there is about 1 post every 3 weeks on here which means you are going to sacrifice lots of marks for pre production. How can you evidence your practical work on here more thoroughly?

ReplyDeleteWe've analysed your music video. So far you're doing really well, however there are some things which you can improve. Firstly, you need to use a wider variety of shots. You have used a lot of shots where the protagonist is in the centre. To improve your grade, during filming you can experiment more with different angles and composition. Secondly, we noticed that on final cut pro you haven't added many filters/effects on your videos. If you do, the quality of your shots will improve and it will add more to the conventions of your genre.
